Mr. Masaya Katayama: Attorney-at-law and Managing Director

Mr. Katayama is recognized within the international and domestic legal arena as a seasoned and innovative Japanese corporate lawyer who is able to handle a wide array of highly complex and diversified corporate matters.

He boasts an impressive record for successfully representing Clients in numerous company⁄labour disputes, trade union negotiations and disputes, employment negotiations and settlements, M&As etc., and is frequently invited by company executives and other internal stakeholders to hold seminars and furnish his expert views, interpretations and guidance on numerous aspects of Japanese corporate law.

Mr. Katayama is also a prolific author within the corporate field, and throughout his illustrious career has published numerous articles and books on a wide range of Japanese company and labour laws issues.
