Ms. Miyoko KANEZAKI: Attorney-at-law
While Ms. Kanezaki focuses her practice mainly on family law matters, she also brings to the corporate team exceptional corporate law abilities, and has successfully represented Clients in numerous company/labour disputes.
She spent over 3 years in Thailand where she obtained her LLM in business law, with her thesis entitled ”Fixed-Term Contracts Under Current Japanese Labour Law: A Need for Change”.
Before returning to Japan she assisted Thai lawyers, acting for leading Japanese corporations in Thailand, regarding such matters as the establishment of companies, tax incentives, and M&A.
Such experiences and international legal exposure have equipped her to also handle a broad range of corporate matters, and she has thus far successfully handled numerous employment disputes and settlements, sexual harassment litigations, company work rules disputes etc.
- Drafted and reviewed numerous employment contracts, company work rules;
- Negotiated and settled numerous employer/employee disputes;
- Provided legal assistance to Japanese companies in Thailand.
